I was born on the edge of the outback in NSW. I pursued life from the red dust, and heat of cattle country to our cities and small country towns. I've mustered stock on a horse and a motorbike, spotlighted for foxes and learned to shoot a rifle, dived the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding islands, speared fish, swam with sharks and dolphins, avoided sea snakes and moray eels, and taken free rides on sea turtles. Australia is such a beautiful country.
Reading and writing have always been a vital part of my life. I'm always reading something, and I'm pretty much always writing, too. I've written contemporary romance, and suspense/thrillers with a touch of romance and I'm currently concentrating on Rural Romantic Suspense.
It's exciting to write about something that's an integral part of our world, love and romance. I love creating strong feisty heroines who know what they want and meet their Mr Right, whether they initially believe it or not.
I love hearing from readers, so if you have anything you'd like to tell me, whether it's about what you liked or didn't like about my novels, you can email me, suzannebrandyn at gmail dot com or message me on face book.
I would also like to thank you for purchasing my books and have taken your time to undertake a review. I do hope you find yourself on a journey of escapism, if only for the duration of the novel. Thank you. :) x
To your left is the toothless windmill. A guiding icon.
Whenever I got lost on the property, I would find the highest hill and spot the toothless windmill from afar, marking home. It saved me on a few occasions. I used the toothless windmill some years back in Outback Fear, and now it's become my icon. My mark within the world of Rural Romantic Suspense.
